Team members and roles

Most organisations aren't a one-person show. SupportWunder lets you invite teammates by email and gives each of them one of three roles, so the whole team can share an inbox without everyone needing full control.

Inviting a teammate

From the team page, an owner enters an email address and picks a role, and an invitation goes out by email. The invited person clicks the link, sets a password, and their account and membership are created together, there's no separate signup step.

Invite links expire after 7 days. If one lapses before it's used, an owner can resend it from the team page to get a fresh link.

Roles

Only an owner can invite people, change someone's role, or remove them. Every organisation must keep at least one owner. You can't demote or remove the last one.

Agent profiles

Each teammate has an agent profile: a display name, title, avatar, and an optional signature, separate from their login. It's what shows up on the drafts and replies they handle, so customers see a person, not just an account.

Current limits

A few limits apply to team membership as it stands today:

  • One organisation per person. An account belongs to exactly one organisation, so someone already using SupportWunder elsewhere can't also join yours. They'd need a different email address.
  • Invites need a fresh email. If the email you invite already has a SupportWunder account, the invite can't be accepted. The person needs to use an email that isn't registered yet.
  • No self-serve leaving. Removing someone from the team is an owner action; there's no self-service "leave organisation" option yet.

Removing a teammate hands any conversations still assigned to them back to the shared pool immediately, and signs them out everywhere right away.
